Weatherford Wags is excited to be participating in North Texas Gives to Animals 2026. We're raising funds to help us with our mission of effecting positive change in the lives of shelter dogs and unwanted dogs in our community, and we're hoping you'll support us.

What is North Texas Gives to Animals?
North Texas Gives to Animals is a two-week fundraising event held in celebration of National Pet Month and presented by Communities Foundation of Texas.

North Texas Gives to Animals will take place from May 14 to May 31, 2026.
Are Donations Matched?
To kick off the event on Thursday, May 14, the first $100,000 in donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by The Gigi Gartner Charitable Foundation Fund, along with sponsors Haroon Alvi and Nancy Cozzie Fund and Communities Foundation of Texas. Available for online gifts only, the first $100 per donor per organization will be matched. Gifts over $100 are certainly appreciated, but only the first $100 will be eligible for the match.
How Your Donation Helps Our Dogs
Donations help us pay for our dogs' needs, such as medical care for injury/illness, temporary boarding, heartworm prevention and treatment, and vaccines.
